U r kul. (a text-language version of “You are cool”), is an organization for improving mental health. It is our effort to uplift, motivate, inspire or just cheer up those who need it. Perhaps the biggest cause of depression is thinking we’re not cool enough to belong or fit in, and maybe all we need is someone to tell us we’re cool: cool enough to be invited, listened to, and understood. Our mission is to tell everyone, “You are cool! You are seen, appreciated and accepted, just as you are.” Our goal is to raise awareness and funds for those suffering with depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses, with merchandise, an online store, benefit concerts and sporting events. When people really know they are cool, in their unique way, they can do something about it: lift up and strengthen - first themselves, then others. Join us! And by doing so, U r kul.
Lift up and strengthen.
What’s the best nation? DOnation.
We’re just getting started, and our aspirations are huge: we want to help people. A lot. We want to alleviate their suffering where we can. We want to raise money to help patients and their families suffering from mental health issues and all that goes with it, so they know they’re loved, they are cool, they are important enough for us to help them so they can focus on healing. We want to build a big online store and open retail stores. We want to put on benefit concerts and events to raise money and get many to participate. We want to collaborate with hospitals, musicians, schools, gyms, pro athletes and teams, . . . everyone. We even want to build our own hospital. Sound cool? Help us accomplish this sooner than later, and together we can do some good in the world, in an area that most shy away from. And remember: “Ya don’t gotta be a Rockefellah to help-a-fella.”
U r kul. Lift up and strengthen.
